Earth Day, Woodlawn Lake
April 19, 2003

For the last several years, the Rivermen have offered canoe rides or races at the Earth Day celebration at Woodlawn Lake.  In 2003 we offered rides in two canoes lashed together with aluminum rods and the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape.  We were so stable not even the most rambunctious child could have swamped us.

The canoe rides were free, but we charged for peach cobbler a la mode.  These are photos from the 2003 event.  A tasty time was had by all.
