Freeze Trip Route

The Freeze Trip is an annual event of the Alamo City Rivermen.  In recent years, it has been held in January and on the Colorado River between Austin and Bastrop.  The put-in is the FM 969 crossing.  The take-out is Fishermen's Park in Bastrop.

The trip is overnight.  We put in Saturday morning, paddle down to an island, and camp.  There is a large communal meal Saturday night.  Sunday we break camp and paddle down to Bastrop.
