Upcoming Events

Not all paddle trips are planned well in advance.  Just because we don't show trips for extended periods in the calendar below does not mean we won't be paddling.

September 26, 2009

Bring your canoe or kayak to Braunig Lake Park on Saturday, September 26th and receive

free admission for the entire weekend.

September 26th is National Public Lands Day, a celebration of our nation’s public lands during which volunteers help

enhance and restore these treasured natural areas through hands-on maintenance, cleaning and construction.

Volunteers who help remove trash from the shoreline of Braunig Lake Park receive free admission on Saturday,

September 26th and on Sunday, September 27th.

Volunteers are needed to bring their canoes or kayaks to Braunig Lake Park and help pick up trash along the park’s shoreline. SARA will provide trash bags and pick up filled trash bags along the shoreline.
